Nonsense. Zero tail pipe emission is a guarantee when there is no tail pipe.

Issue here is as a state, do they have the right to set environmental standards for themselves above and beyond federal standards.

CARB is paid by the consumer btw....

When you buy after market exhaust, you usually get two versions; CARB certified and non-CARB certified.


And yes... I agree. The whole vote for Republicans because they are for small government is a crock of ...

Why is the federal government inserting itself into a state like this? I thought conservatives wanted less federal government interference, not more.

In fact, automakers have repeatedly warned the administration that forcing a legal battle with California over car pollution standards could significantly damage their bottom line. If the nation’s auto industry is split in two — with some states following California’s standards and others following weaker federal rules — car makers could find themselves caught in a regulatory nightmare, required to comply with both.

revoking a state-exclusive waiver isn't 'inserting' anything.

i though leftists wanted an equal playing field, not a less than equal one.
