This is the gist of the whistleblower issue and the National Intelligence Director - withholding information from the Congress.

The idiot is giving away the country and we’re not supposed to know about it?

For those who aren't able to read this, below is the gist of it.

"Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson determined that the complaint was credible and troubling enough to be considered a matter of “urgent concern,” a legal threshold that ordinarily requires notification of congressional oversight committees.

But acting director of national intelligence Joseph Maguire has refused to share details about Trump’s alleged transgression with lawmakers..."

The complaint was filed with Atkinson’s office on Aug. 12, a date on which Trump was at his golf resort in New Jersey. White House records indicate that Trump had had conversations or interactions with at least five foreign leaders in the preceding five weeks...

Among them was a call with Russian President Vladimir Putin that the White House initiated on July 31. Trump also received at least two letters from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during the summer, describing them as “beautiful” messages."

While reading just think to yourself If Obama made a promise to some foreign leader so troubling that it warranted whistleblowing AND his appointed DNI chief illegally refuses to allow any congressional oversight, would that be OK?

I hope the whistleblower just goes directly to Congress with this info!

One wonders how many years it will take for the US to restore working relationships with allied intelligence services again.

Nice to see both sides keeping the double standard alive.

There are about 10,000 things that Trump, his family, his campaign, his cabinet and staff have done that had Obama done them..........they wouldn't have been "ok" and conservatives would have been screaming about.

This deal is just #10,001.

Nice to know you already got justification for Trump's transgressions.... your video is a bust.

Trump is a liability and a traitor but if you want to play that game....

How about if Obama hired his daughters as his senior aides?

Or route the miltary to resorts he owns and refuse to divest from?

Or fill cabinet seats with lobbyists?

Or hire his unqualified cabana boy to a USDA post just 'cus he's loyal?

Would that work too?

Don't know, don't care. I dislike both Trump and Obama. My point went over your head.
