Wait until 30 year mortgages disappear, insurance rates becomes all but unaffordable in coastal, flood and wilderness areas, and tropical diseases become the norm in the northern climes.
Oh, but who cares. You'll be dead and it will be your children's problem. Who cares about them anyway. Ain't that right, Deniers?

Quick, tax us, raise taxes, ban things, do it for the world!
*In the mean time the most vocal advocates continue to pollute more than the next 1000 people combined, and are not at all concerned about their beach front homes.
I’ve been watching the climate change debate for 30 odd years. The science has only become stronger and stronger that it is occurring, to the point that scientists aren’t even debating its existence anymore... that’s only for Koch brothers lobbyists now.

over the last 30 years, the science has kind of wildly varied, other than the "hey, you funded us for research, and so here's what we produced for the study du jour".
I don't think anybody - scientist or not - debates that the climate isn't changing. I think the debate is about:
1. is this natural?
2. has it reached worrisome levels?
3. How much can and should the US change to make a GLOBAL impact?

This article must be joking. The $10b is hospital costs that include Lyme disease in Michigan, hurricane Sandy in New York, oak pollen in North Carolina, wildfires in Washington and Colorado, and West Nile virus in Texas. Those things would happen if the United States had net zero emissions. It's disgraceful to use these things to cudgel people into accepting higher taxes and reduced freedoms.

Actually no, that's not debated at all in scientific circles.
Scientists understand that there is no other explanation for the 50% increase in CO2 concentration since the start of the industrial revolution, than the billions of tons of CO2 emitted.
OP, is your home filled with cheap, easily breakable goods from China? If so, you are part of the problem. At the very least, you are an enabler.
