Polluting should be punished, it is when you can buy your way out of the pollution penalty there is a problem.

I do wonder if Al Gore never had been born, we'd even be talking about climate change at all. Amazing how much damage one person can accomplish.

No, because the people pushing this have an agenda larger than the climate, and yes most of them are hypocrites which doesn't help them...

He's so worried about climate change he owns three huge houses. Obama just bought a $15 million ocean front house. If the coasts are going to be flooded, why buy a home on the beach? Hmmm.

Look where ever you stand on this issue -- you have to be in awe of the crowds showing up for this 'strike' protest march whatever you want to call it.

I have my concerns about climate change, considering we're enduring the hottest September on record (ugh), but I simply *cannot* live without AC. If it gets hotter, the more juice I'm gonna use to run that AC, because it's a necessity. I also eat meat - I would have a very hard time with a veggie diet. Others can swing it, I choose not to. Nobody's going to take that away from me. And travel - let's not go there. It's not gonna happen.

The question I have now is this: When will all this hysteria end? Or am I going to have to listen to this noise for the rest of my days?
We can do something about it, you just choose not to.

Yes. They will not stop. This is their religion....their raison d'etre.....

This right here is a very, very good reason NOT to take climate change seriously. If those folks truly believed in it, they'd not be buying mansions on the ocean, plain and simple.

Americans need to study the facts and not get caught up in what people say.

There is a reason I call TV the "Tell-A-Vision." And that's why I cut my cable years ago - I got sick and tired of hearing those bleating heads going on and on about the world ending in X-number of years. I can't wait until everyone else wakes up and smells the coffee like I have.

Again: Consensus is not science. It's just a bunch of people having a conversation.

Have all scientists all repeat the studies, use the same data and get all the same results if you want to PROVE the SCIENCE.

Science doesn't need consensus. It can stand up to scrutiny on its own.

You might want to ask yourself why this is the only "scientific fact" that is using consensus as an argument ... instead of "science."

Do you even know what an ad hominem attack is? Do you know why it means nothing?
