Even CNN is starting to realize the Democrats are losing moderate Democrats to Trump.
They like a lot of his Pro America policies and dislike where the Democrat party has shifted.
Trump barely lost Minnesota in 2016. Good odds he may win it in 2020.
I don't think it is Trump winning over the moderate democrats as much as it is the moderate democrats getting sick and tired of the far socialist left liberals and their push of fascio-socialism/communism

I've been saying this til I'm blue in the face. I don't think the average person is ok with this far far left agenda. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.

Democrats are losing ground in the Iron Range & some other rural areas in Minnesota and gaining ground in the Minneapolis suburbs, it works out to basically a wash.
Doubtful. 2018 indicated that, for every rural Republican voter Trump galvanized, two educated suburbanites flipped from Republican to Democrat. Trump’s base is pretty well defined and caps out at roughly 42/43% of the population. Unlike prior Presidents, there are few moderates that he is going to flip at this point.
Trump’s best bet is to encourage voters to stay home. He doesn’t have the numbers if there is a big turnout.
This has been the Republican playbook for half a century.
The Republicans and their anti-common folks agenda win when ordinary folks are too discouraged or confused to vote, and then of course the ordinary folks get screwed ...
This can only work so long, and people are getting wise to it, becoming angry and showing up at the polls. Then the Republicans resort to back-up plan B: disenfranchise as many working class people as possible. Republicans can play up less than a few dozen illegal voters across the country into a scare that will justify tossing 5,000 or more legitimate citizen-voters off the rolls in any one state. If necessary they will make up lies out of whole cloth to justify their actions.
Trump has locked up the white nationalist vote. However, women, blacks, Hispanics, muslims will vote for anyone other that our racist president who is a misogynist who reeks of mommy issues.
I wonder who little Donny will wish into the cornfield next.
Mid terms don't have much to do with the Presidential elections.....usually swing the other way as an attempt at correction....
