The Pentagon is a huge no-fly zone with nearby air force bases that are meant to quickly get fighter jets into the air and are authorized to shoot down commercial airlines.

Well for one thing, NORAD the military radar system points outward and an aircraft flight in the US would not/may not be picked up by the military system. And secondly local radar acted to slowly to realize what was happening.

Too many in denial - we think ourselves superior but we have many holes in the garment of protection. We learned little from the bombings of fed buildings, Benghazi, 911 and even in the military equipment not being able to withstand any firepower. Our war toys are getting old . I remember a farmer’s son who was at war and he wrote his dad about the lack of protection, and his dad started making steel plates on his own, and shipped them himself for the guys to put on their Humvees. Our office sent toothpaste and soap - I could go on - but a military wife - we are not ready or paying attention as we should. An attack on our satellites would render us helpless with our communication- and our electric grids - lord-keep us. Keep politicking- keep our eyes on the wrong enemy - hope and pray we don’t find out what our mistakes will cost us

Huge no fly zone? There is a national airport, Reagan National, right next to it, lol.

Plus, it is not like they got AA and fighter jets flying constantly over it.

9/11 was over before it trickled down "shoot down" orders, they are normally not authorized to shoot down commercial aircraft, it was actually unprecedented when Cheney gave the authorization.

What nearby Air Force bases? Closest Air Force base is Andrews in Maryland.
Stop watching this conspiracy theory nonsense, your brain will rot.

the consensus of opinion seems to be that one should be grateful for living in a country were for the most part we have freedom...if you look at the old USSR for example many many occurrences are NOT included in official history...

in our world its seems an a connection between international banking, business...and tremendous wealth holders who may just know things that cannot be shared with the general public....

in a similar matter (JFK) i have spent years fascinated with the JFK assassination only to discover it looks for all to see that a secret service man riding in a following car accidentally fell backwards and discharged his ar15 one time hitting JFK in the head..the photo is online (could be Photoshop)...this does not discount all of the nefarious connections with those in power have around the world..

there are 2 official government findings with JFK warren commission says one house assassinations says more that one...take your pick

Andrews air-force base is 16 miles away from the pentagon

The end of runway 15 of the Ronald Reagan airport is 5,000 ft from the center of the Pentagon courtyard.

All that money spent after 9/11 to explain how it happened and to determine what some fixes were, all wasted.

The OP needs to go back and read the 9-11 commission report and it's findings.
