It's a campaign finance violation - a big one. Our elections are reserved for our population. Foreign countries cannot donate money or provide anything of value to benefit one candidate over another. And here's Trump soliciting such a violation.
But the DOJ says a sitting president cannot be indicted. So impeachment is the recourse.
It’s also a national security threat, an abuse of executive power and quite possibly, depending on how they react to requests for documents and subpoenas, obstruction of Congress.
