But first it has to be established if the whistle blower had the ability to do what was done, and how it was done.
This is a phone call in the White House by POTUS. There are rules, regulations regarding many of the contributing circumstances.
When an opposing Party on record, from Day One of the Presidency starts using any and all means possible to undo the results of a free and fair election, and after they come up empty time and time again, putting the American public through the wringer for almost 3 years , what do you call it ?
The brilliance of the Framers has been in full view, and it will continue. They knew this was likely to happen, and they put in all the stops necessary. But Dems need to bend the rules, cloaked in secrecy , avoid precedent by not having a floor vote. Their march continues, this is just a different version of the drum beat.

If it is all a pile of hooey, Trump could have easily refuted the allegatons by producing facts to support his argument. Instead, he immediately went into stonewall mode, and started screamin about everyone not involved in the complaint.
Not at all what anyone would expect the reaction to be from an innocent man. Trumps' rebuttal is an instant replay of Richard Nixon's attempted smokescreen in 1974.

Nixon's crime was a covsr up and obstruction. He fired folks/ordered the firing of folks. Almost like the Comey case. Learn the history of Watergate and Nixon's resignation before spouting off like you know anything.
Take abuse of power (one of the articles cited for Nixon): Abuse of power can mean a person using the power they have for their own personal gain.
In the view of many (starting with the whistleblower) Trump demonstrated "abuse of power" in that Zelensky telephone call that he still maintains was "perfect."
