"Many factors led to Israelis voting against Netanyahu last week. But when the story of his final days of leadership is written, it will be remembered that Netanyahu built his political strategy around whoever was in the Oval Office, and when Netanyahu needed the president’s support most, he was abandoned."

Well, they say that there are no permanent friendships, just permanent interests.

Bibi should have known that pretty well. The problem was that he doubled down too much when he got rebuffed with Obama, and put all his eggs in with Trump. He should have figured out Trump is pretty mercurial. But I guess he did get a lot out of his relationship with Trump while he was there.

When did Israel get statehood?

Israel wants us out of Israel.
