During my term as associate dean of curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania’s medical school, I was chastised by a faculty member for not including a program on climate change in the course of study. And how exactly did they happen to know about your guns? Your post makes me wonder if you were aggressive about picking fights with them.
And, by the way, does that mean that if you were seriously ill, and you had a choice between a brilliant doctor who preached against guns and a mediocre doctor who didn't, you'd let your prejudices get in the way of your medical care?
