On what planet is sky high welfare the mark of a growing economy?

Well, the only one not to kick those cans down the road.

I am a proud, liberal Democrat. We Democrats have sought, in state legislatures to restrict gun rights. The Supreme Court's Heller decision has held that gun rights can be restricted in the same manner as free speech rights, i.e. time, place and manner. The 10th Amendment is merely provides that anything not subject to Federal power defaults to the states. It provides no rules. As far as the Electoral College a bunch of Democratic-dominated states have passed bills which automatically route the state's Electoral Vote to the party winning the popular vote. It hasn't been triggered yet, and is probably unconstitutional. See Nevada passes National Popular Vote bill in bid to upend Electoral College(link is to my post explaining reasons).

You seriously believe that anyone, Dem or Repub, wants to let terrorists into the country?
Your edit out of the words "dangerous illegals" is telling. And the desire to exclude terrorists is rhetorical since many of my fellow Democrats have opposed most methods of screening either criminals or terrorists. Witness New York State's lawsuit to halt ICE activities outside courthouses. The efforts to hamstring and even abolish ICE demonstrate this lack of seriousness.

For starters, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos , Rick Gates. All in jail or under indictment. Ryan Zinke and Scott Pruitt. The phony Trump Foundation. The phony Trump University. Taking money that was earmarked for the DoD and putting it toward building a wall that was specifically rejected by Congress. Bribing the leader of a foreign country to smear his opponent.
What about the weaponization of the IRS under Obama. The tarmac meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton. The phony Clinton Foundation?

How does the limitation of property tax and other state and local tax deductions favor the rich? And how will the taxes necessitated by the Paris Climate Accords benefit the poor? Those are highly regressive taxes.

2. "Dispute with Iran"? Do you mean like their unprovoked attacks on oil tankers and Saudi oil facilities, as well as being a state sponsor of international terror?

3. Trump has done nothing to LEGAL immigration. Trump simply wants the border secured to stop the massive flow of ILLEGAL immigration, which costs US tax payers $100 billion every year.

4. Meddling in the federal reserve? Do you mean cutting interest rates like Obama did in going from 6% to 0%??? How about the $1 trillion "stimulus", which was just a pork program for Obama loyalists?
1. The world benefits from maximal technological progress at a minimum price, regardless of who made the initial discovery. The long-term benefit that matters most is a stable investment-climate and rising stock markets.

2. None of this would have transpired if the US honored its commitments to the world, and to Iran.

3. The current administration has reduced quotas for annual number of legal immigrants to be admitted.

4. The President his no business cajoling, haranguing or otherwise interfering with the decisions of the Federal Reserve.

Have you no shame whatsoever (I ask because you have great cause to, based on your post ^^^^)?

Avoid the issue and employ whatabouism.

I realize its the only argument you got but its getting old.

Obama is not the president because his 8 years are up. No scandal during his term. Trump a pathological liar; goes through staff like water; the laughing stock of the world, the UN outright laughed at him; tariffs putting the economy at risk; toxic mouth; self- promoter and thief; collusionist with Russia and the Ukraine; disrespectful of the constitution, women, the truth, his wife, and decency.

A president should be judged by his actions and fidelity to the Constitution. Trump is the only president since Reagan who has stood up to the intimidation and thuggery of leftist fascists, who had become used to being able to bully other presidents.

Trump is the only recent president who has faced the tough issues of illegal immigration, China and NAFTA trade policies, and federal agencies that have overstepped their bounds.

The fanatical attacks on Trump are from the entrenched politicians in Washington that prefer to keep their system of screwing the public intact. Trump is a populist reformer, like TR, and such reformers are always attacked by those insiders who stand the most to lose.
Aren't you the same guy who started this post? I could give you and your Jim Jones like Trump followers 10000 reasons, and you would vote the same way. What is the point of this thread?

The same reasons l won't vote for the Dems:

The Trump Administration is just as Big Government, just expressed in different ways.

I'll likely vote for the most libertarian third party candidate out there, assuming they seem reasonable enough. I'm not going to help contribute to the 2 party domination.
