No, it's not wrong. We know that because Biden says he did what you described (except with a much more overt quid-pro-quo threat and, possibly, corrupt motives) -- and y'all aren't planning to impeach him.
That proves that this is not about any wrongdoing by Trump. It's just a partisan effort to remove the President because he's not one of you.
Trump will never be removed UNLESS the Republicans in the Senate remove him. The Senate makes that decision, not the house; but I thought you would know that.

I don't think we ever want to get into a position where a president is directing investigations of his political opponents from the white house. Resurrecting an investigation into Burisma and Hunter Biden from 2014 is punitive unless you can quote one fact for this course of action.

Seeking an investigation into one's political rival -- very lightly suggesting it in this case -- constitutes an egregious treasonous act? Okay, everyone with any involvement whatsoever in pursuing the Russian Collusion investigation needs to be lined up and shot for high treason then. Biden is much more than a political opponent. Ultimately, as the head of the executive branch, Trump is in charge of enforcing federal law. No one gets to break the law just because he's running for President.
Compare this suggested inquiry into the motives for one specific act (which Biden said he committed) with the open-ended "Russia" fishing expedition based solely on the fact that Trump was the accusers' political opponent. How could you possibly defend that and claim there's something wrong with checking to see whether the Ukrainian prosecutor that Biden removed was still investigating Hunter Biden's company?
