Caring is good, but judge the morality of the situation yourself, not just by the standards corrupt leadership set.
They protect their own system by decrying foriegn collusion, but is foriegn collusion worse than collusion with wall street, privately funded think tanks, Pentagon contractors?
Don't just talk about loyalty or patriotism, ask what the affects are and what the basis should be. Of course the media and all the other institutions protect their own system, they have to.
But you can look at each situation and judge for yourself.

Republicans are the ones who have lost their minds -- they are in denial, despite the clear case against Trump.
House impeachment is a done deal and Trump fully deserves it. This country cannot tolerate any president who uses extortion to strong arm a foreign country into US election interference.
Republicans are starting to waver, the solid wall of Trump supports is showing a few cracks.
