This isn’t about Republicans vs Democrats. It seems with these congressional hearings some politicians are more concerned with making a political statement instead of asking valid questions as part of the investigation. I wasn’t old enough to remember the congressional investigations of Watergate nor the ones before Watergate. I was in school during the Iran/Contra hearings. What little I remember about the Iran Contra hearings didn’t seem to be on this level like hearings of the past twenty years. It just seems some politicians on both sides of the political spectrum are using the cameras as a campaign political tool. Facts and truth aren’t as important to them than their party’s political power.

Yes, because both parties are not willing to wait for elections any more. Stealing the office/ position is the name of the game.

Anything and all things for power.

If I was a politician, I honestly would try to balance facts, truth, and upholding the Constitution. Even if a politician does ask a valid question during some political investigation, essentially anything they say could be a political sound bite!

Remember when C-Span first went on the air, and people discovered that their congressman was making speeches in front of perfectly empty rooms?

There`s no shortage of fact checking websites. Are facts and truth important to Trump supporters?
