Why should he care if Russia meddles in our elections? After all, Russia is impacted by who we elect and we definitely interfere in their elections (especially when Obama was Prez). So are every nation on the earth impacted and they also attempt to interfere with our election.
Collusion with Russia is better than collusion with wall street, pentagon contractors, or other academic imperialists that run our country.

The Hillary campaign paid foreign agent Steele who worked with Russians to create the dossier to sway the election.

In November 2016, a former British ambassador to Russia who knew about what Steele had researched met McCain, his staffer Christopher Brose and Kramer, a former State Department official who worked alongside McCain, in Halifax.
At McCain's request, Kramer followed up with Steele, then received copies of the dossier from an owner of Fusion GPS.
Kramer then shared the dossier with McCain and the Senate staffer on November 30, 2016, and asked McCain to pass it to the FBI and CIA.
You people are so concerned about the origins of the report (and your opinions about THAT are faulty) that you fail to be concerned about the facts in it, which is back-asswards and also supremely dangerous to the sovereignty of our nation and the stability of our republic.

Though the media has done a superb job at conflating the two and getting 'patriots' to support institutions that harm them, more than the Russian governments.
If you for example like democracy you should like it out of principle. And if our democratic institutions are subverting the will of the people by organizing capital most 'efficiently' shouldn't you be against these institutions?

Nixon created the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Energy Policy for advice on oil policy and supported the Clean Air Act of 1970. In addition, he established the Environmental Protection Agency.
He insisted that Congress broaden the U.S. Civil Rights Commission mandate to include sex discrimination and signed all civil rights legislation passed by Congress, including Title IX, which banned sexual discrimination in educational benefits. Most important, the Nixon administration expanded enforcement of affirmative action. He also supported the Constitutional amendment lowering the voting age to 18. Nixon used the "peace dividend" from reducing troops in Vietnam to finance social welfare services and enforce civil rights through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. As a result, from 1970 to 1975, spending on human resource services exceeded spending for defense for the first time since World War II.
