Health insurance does not need to be tied to employment. In fact, there is no reason at all for a human being to expect a job AND health insurance from his employer. That was always a mistake. The job should be enough. All health insurance needs to be removed from employer responsibility and purview. Individual consumers can buy it in the private free market. This will also control pricing, just like it does in every other market.
Immigrants are not the issue. Even if you stop immigration completely, the birth rate is still greater than the death rate... meaning women are still having more than 1 child on average. Plus people are living longer.
All you're doing with it anyways is delaying the inevitable. Robots will take over a large proportion of the jobs regardless of immigrants or whatever.
If not for immigration, the US would have a demographic decline more similar to Europe and Japan.
