I 100% agree, accusations of sexual assault without a shred of proof or other politically motivated charges are intended to be just that.
Sexual assault has been politically weaponized, so much so that Biden's own VP said she believed his accusers.
Bernie Sanders? Accused of racism and sexism.

I'm sure that Ms Ford regrets the day she agreed to come forward. Her life is ruined; she has had her reputation slandered by a bunch of troglodytes.

Let's not forget that Al Sharpton built his entire career off of a rape case in which the "victim" later admitted she was lying. Being a soldier for the Left, even if you're dead wrong, comes with great rewards.

The woman is a Leftist activist.
This means she's very passionate about causes like abortion, etc.
There ain't much an activist won't do for the cause.
Some pro-choice folks would happily die for the cause.
In the mind of an activist, making up stories is a small price to pay for the cause and the ends justify pretty much anything.
She suddenly "remembered" the incident in about 2012 when Mitt Romney was running, stood a pretty good chance of winning, and Brett Kavanaugh showed up on his SCOTUS short list.
Obama wins and she does nothing with her story.
Trump nominates Kavanaugh.
Only then was it super important to come forward and "tell her truth."
Now sure, you're right. Only Kavanaugh and Ford know the truth. That's why cases like this never go anywhere in court. We live in a world where people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Started the thread for a laugh as the whole Kavanaugh circus was over and the insanity was winding down. The article is from a site very similar to The Babylon Bee. It was an amusing to toss it in there in the aftermath. And now it's pretty much coming true. They weren't wrong, and it's really sad that the insanity on the Left is this predictable.
The Democrats seem to think that elections don't have consequences, contrary to what Barack Obama said. Pencil it in on every ballot. Voting Democrat in 2020 means you are voting for:
Caving into every demand of the rioting Far Left mob.
Prosecuting people for self defense.
Stacking the Supreme Court and every federal court in the country.
Impeachment for every elected official with an R next to their name.
Immediate amnesty and citizenship for all illegal aliens.
