Repeat if Trump is impeached Pence replaces him. So your candidates running mate, your party remains in office. Just that a person who merits removal gets it. It's all a democratic process envisioned by the founding fathers as a check on a commander in chief who is defective morally or otherwise. Had HC been elected she would have been impeached weeks into her first term.

Trump is the Pied Piper who has people like Barr and Pompeo and others running to serve him. After Trump leaves and a Dem takes office don't they realize they will face judgement. Unless of course Trump issues proactive pardons to everyone in his court. I wonder what lure he has over their personalities?

Yes to all points. That's what they are doing, which is why they have fought Trump since day one on everything he tried to get done. They are trying to eliminate the electoral college by any means necessary, and they are trying to get rid of Trump by any means they can. Despite all the feet stomping and the noise -- Trump isn't going to be convicted if he's impeached, so we are going to 2020 to have it decided again at the ballot box. And if Trump wins next time - these crybabies won't be able to blame Russia.
