Probably explains why he can't collaborate with our allies on issues like trade with China. He can only work with other despots and try to crush everybody else.

Lightbulb Is Trump on a learning curve?

Nope...

He's shown repeatedly that he's incapable of learning. Won't listen, won't read, won't take advice from experts; surrounds himself with bootlicking yes men who won't question his dumb moves.

In the words of those who work closest with him.

Is Trump on a learning curve?

For most people starting off like Trump, it would be a learning curve. Trump is willful to a fault. He either refuses to learn, or refuses to learn the right things.

He's the kind of guy that wants to believe crime does pay, so that's the lesson he takes to heart.

No, he's not on a learning curve because he doesn't want to learn anything. He only wants the office of the president to enrich him and/or pander to his ego.

Trump is not on any learning curve. He mastered the game of extortion and shakedowns a long time ago in the private sector. Only difference is that he is now using the powers of the US government for pressure.
