Some camp overnight and there will be a mile-long line by the end of the day.
Only the first 20K people will be admitted into AA Center. The rest few thousands will have to wait outside, standing in the parking lot etc.
Oh wow, that's really sad!

Yeah, sad that thousands of your fellow dedicated Texas Aggies might want to go see their President and give him their support.

Exactly. Sad people would support an admitted traitor.

Sad. Thankfully most of Dallas is too patriotic to support a Russian asset in the White House. I just wish rural Texas loved America as much as those in the cities.

Why would anyone wait in line for hours to see any politician.

Trump raises $125,000,000 in 3rd quarter, so it shouldn't be surprising that someone want to see him for free.

That's the real question. I'm not sure I'd wait 4 hours to see a miracle Elvis and Sinatra double bill.

Because people view politics in the same way they view sports. My side must win at all cost which is why this country is so divided.

I've said for years that ballots should NOT show party affiliation nor should voting straight ticket be an option. Candidates should be listed by the office they are running for and in alphabetical order.

I have family members that admit they simply vote straight ticket (for both). I've asked them how do they know the person they are voting for is actually in their best interest and the response is always "It's my party so it must be in my best interest".

I know people that vote straight party because their parents voted that way and their grandparents voted that way....

Republicans and Democrats have changed their focus over the decades. What those parties supported in the 50's is not the same agenda they had in the 70's or the 90's or the 00's, etc.

Over the years I've voted for both parties and Independents on all levels from local to federal. I've taught my daughter, who was old enough to vote for the first time last November, the same. Ignore the party, research the people running and vote for the person that most resonate with your line of thinking while not falling for nonsense claims like free everything for everyone or making the country great again without being able to answer when exactly what era they are talking about.

Yeah I got one of those during the 2016 campaign (Radford VA) but they gave out many more than could fit in the arena. So it is not a guaranteed seat. We got there way early but could not get in.

(This was very early in the 2016 campaign and I was attending neither as a "fan" nor as a disrupter but I was genuinely interested in the phenomenon.)
