Not sure why they called off the event just because the Police Chief and others decided they didn't want to be involved in what has turned into a Republican political event.

Seems like since the Republicans are so dedicated to good works, they would want to be sure and make this happen.
He invited someone from Gavin Newsome’s office as well and we know how much Newsome is a huge Trump fan. You people are insufferable.

Yes, this is correct, it was vile and disgusting for the Right to turn this solemn occasion into an event focused on the Orange Fuhrer. But of course GOPers will never be able to understand that
The "Orange Fuhrer". You guys are indeed nuts. You must have really been shocked when you found out Obama was caught secretly meeting with the White, Jewish, and Gay hating Farrakhan, who openly admires the real Furher

Leftist Democrats, typically Demonize all police, but will occasionally side with One that is anti-Republican. We see how wonderfully they handled the many incidences after "Black Lives Matter" events, that led to the massive increases in violence in Baltimore, Detroit, and Baltimore. Dems F-up everything they touch, now it's LA, SF, and Seattle. Yep, Free needles, people poooping in front of businesses, Sanctuary cities where foreign felons come back again and again. The Dems are doing what they do best, F it up for everyone.

Where did you get all that from? Where does it say anywhere that the event would be focused on my (and yours) president?

Regardless of the political persuasion of any of the law enforcement officers, it would be a poor idea for them to be involved in a political rally during these touchy times.

Such things can go off the rails fairly fast. Some claim they showed up in Charlottesville to celebrate their glorious southern heritage. Then next thing they knew they were marching with people waiving swastikas, chanting Nazi slogans, and wanting to fight. Imagine their shock.

If this group wants to organize a fundraiser, then do that and leave politics out of it.
Well it's a stupid thought. How could this fund raiser turn into a Trump rally??? Because Scott Baio's there? Politics was never in it this is all a weird fantasy of yours.... get a grip your losing it.

I live in Ca I heard the promoter on the radio he said this was just a fund raiser for a fallen officer!! Nothing more!! That capt is in a **** load of trouble

Sad that this vile and disgusting police chief did what he did. Sounds like the atypical liberal ass***. But this took place in CA...so really...who gives a s**t. Its CA after all, and to be expected.
