They were aOk when hillary was accepting bazillions in donations and until Trump elected.
WSJ, NYT and WAPO ( you know the fakes news organizations) have been all over the Clinton Foundations acceptance of funds while she was SoS. Saudis, UAE and Qatar donated $10-25 million.
Fast forward to Trump’s first overseas trip to SA. Ivanka solicited and received a $100 million donation for charity from the Saudis and UAE.
Ivanka has no official purpose in the Trump Administration beyond advising her father, his Admin and lobbying Congress for things she chooses to portray as being important.
Unlike the Clintons who disclosed 30+ years of tax returns and the Foundation returns and Form 990s, since inception, Trump has chosen to not honor a campaign promise.
( I was not a Hillary supporter. I voted Trump. Obviously, I did not drink the kool- aid)

First daughter, Ivanka, personally solicited and received $100 million from Saudis Arabia and UAE on behalf of a World Bank fund for female entrepreneurs. She praised the Saudis for their commitment to women’s rights.
Trump Org has been in discussions / negotiations with the Saudis for years to develop Saudi islands into international resorts to compete with Dubai. It’s on the back burner, for now.
Obama sold them arms just like Trump has and Hillary accepted over 10 million in bribe money for her corrupt Clinton Foundation.
The Dems and the Repubs love the Saudis money.
You're right. Obama did sell them arms; I didn't agree with it then and I do not agree with it now.
