Because I don't think some of you understand the anger out there that you are going to deal with, if Trump is removed before the 2020 election. Civil War might be a little strong, but basically you will be telling 63 million voters that votes don't matter any longer.
The country has dealt with impeachment before.
It's a process that is part of the constitution.
If Trump has abused his office, he should be removed.

Like telling 66 million their votes did not matter in 2016, I suppose. In any case, impeachment (rather conviction) is inherently political. It is not going to happen unless a clear majority of Americans turn on Trump. That seems to be the direction we are heading, but it's still a long way away. Nixon's support was much higher than Trump's at this point in the process and Americans mostly cheered when he was sent packing. Things can change.

Only Right Wing conspiracy theorists care about reinventing the 2016 election results at this point. What reasonable citizens are concerned with is a free and valid election in 2020, one not interfered with by Russia or any other of Trump’s pals.
