This has become a farce. News of Rick Perry's upcoming resignation comes out and now Trump is telling the GOP it was Rick Perry that asked him to call the Ukraine - that he didn't really want to do it!

So Rick Perry asked him to tell the Ukraine to investigate Crowdstrike and the Bidens? Isn't the timing interesting? No complaints from Trump about Biden until Biden starts polling well against Trump.

And no complaints about Rick Perry until news up Rick Perry's resignation comes out.

I didn’t even want to make the call,” the president said while tossing the energy secretary under the bus

Another source on the call said Trump added that "more of this will be coming out in the next few days" — referring to Perry.

Trump will throw everyone under the Bus...everyone. He's the kind of guy who would do it even if he didn't have to....just for spite. That's exactly his MO.

I agree but I must say I didn't expect Perry. I should have, based on Trump's history and the rumors Perry was leaving, but I didn't.

You’re talking about a man referred to as Governor Goodhair in his home state.

Well, Pence was supposed to go but the Mob Boss wanted to give his top soldier a break so he sent the "dumb muscle" to do the job and get implicated.

Trump doesn't care one iota about Perry (or anyone, really).

Is there a single individual who has rubbed up against Trump who has come out the better for it?

He is the perfect example of the pol who was sold out from the day they found him to run...to the present day. Nothing he has ever said or did was outside the box of what his bosses in the fossil fuel industry told him to do.
