In any other presidency, this would be an outrageous question. But with Trump in the White House, it is now a legitimate political strategy.

With Donald Trump pressuring Ukraine for dirt on Biden and then him publicly asking China for dirt on Biden & his family, Trump is openly asking foreign countries to help him get damaging information on his likely 2020 opponent.

Most Republicans have been quiet and refuse to denounce Trump's bahavior, so therefore they're okay with it.

That all being said, should dems follow suit and do what Trump is doing, asking foreign governments to help find dirt on Trump and his family? He and his children have been doing business all over the world for decades, I'm sure there's some juicy info out there on Donald.

Also, would Republican City-Data posters be okay if Democrats began asking foreign countries for dirt on Trump?
Because it's exactly what 45 is doing...

It is not a legitimate political strategy. What Trump did was against the law. It remains against the law and it is very disturbing that 39% of Americans, who self-identify as Republicans, reflexively support Trump, who has decided that our national sovereignty is less significant than his own political performance.

They've been doing it since Trump won the nomination. The first, and now discredited, rumor-monger ... that was his job! He worked on the Ukraine desk in the Obama administration. LOL.

Hillary paid a foreign agent to dig up dirt in Russia.

Trump asked a foreign leader to investigate possible corruption.

What specific law did Trump break and how?

The only POTUS in the last 30 years with any real concern about our sovereignty has been Trump.

The DNC wants open borders.

No, the Dems should not commit treason. Trump committed blatant treason, and needs to be impeached, removed, tried and convicted. He is an enemy of America.
