That guy is a lying hack. The law says he's not a whistleblower. There was no "urgent concern", and he knew that because he was, or consulted with, a lawyer.
Plus it wasn't an intelligence matter, it was over policy.

Considering how this president and some of his supporters in Congress want his/her identity disclosed, this would seem to be a prudent course of action.

Prosecutors routinely hide the identity of their witnesses at this point from the defense. a grand jury hearing is basically part of the prosecutors case, it's not a trial where the defendant has a right to face his accuser. It's a failed talking point for the GOP, none of whom seem to have ever watched "Law & Order."

They don't have the authority to investigate impeachment without a full House vote.
As he should. He's not a "whistleblower"; he's part of a powerful, organized anti-Trump cabal. And he didn't follow any procedure entitling him to whistleblower protection, anyway. His identity should. and will, be revealed if the Dems push this stupid impeachment thing.
