You think they were there playing referee, or help Kurds kill and capture ISIS?

They were there enabling Kurds fight ISIS, and to ensure they would continue to do so when we had gone home. We were training them to take over, but that mission was never accomplished because we cut and ran, not only leaving the Kurds at the mercy of the Turks, but also officially surrendering the Kurdish territory to Turkey.
