I love this idea that if "white folks" somehow lived apart from others everything would be ok. There was hundreds of years where this was the case. It was called medieval Europe and by all accounts it was filled with lots of crime, war, religious persecution, plague, economic and social stratification and endless brutal violence. What makes those who promote racial and ethnic segregation think its going to be different the second time around?

So does the clamor for diversity. I read all the time on this board someone looking for a new neighborhood to live in and one of the main qualifications is diversity, as in fewer white people.

sigh...

Japan's suicide rate, as of 2016, was 14.3 per 100,000, barely higher than the 13.7 rate in the United States.

Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark are socially healthy places but this has more to do with the fact that the governments in those nations actually looks after and take care of its people. The residence in those nations are economically far more equal and society is much more equal. They get access to healthcare, lots of time off, etc.

North Korea, Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Haiti and Bangladesh are very NON-diverse countries. None of those nations seem very healthy to me. Having a high degree of homogeneity doesn't equal a socially healthy nation.
Plenty of non-diverse places in the USA that aren't healthy in that aspect. Appalachia is homogeneous and dealing with alot of drug abuse, joblessness, and a rising suicide rate. Native American reservations tend to be homogeneous, and have alot of issues with alcoholism, rape (and other violent crimes), suicide, and other issues. Detroit is homogeneous and at this point, it's not that nice to live there. Alot of blight, poverty, and murder.

There is one caveat: diversity certainly DOES strengthen aristocratic elites, since diversity keeps the common folk fighting against themselves based on racial and cultural differences.

The “Diversity is our Strength” meme is nothing more than a slogan pushed by those who are likely to benefit from a working class divided against itself.
Well said. A melting pot isn’t much good for holding anything together.

A true melting pot is much better at creating a unified culture and character than people being apart.

Study basically says implementing diversity is a challenge. That shouldn't be news to anyone.

Suggesting that some of our posters start a White Nationalist forum where you can go forward with your rants about people of color, commies, liberals ad nauseum.

Depends on the type of homogeneity on how one defines healthy.
