I'm curious. How do people benefit from shilling for career politicians 24/7 on internet message boards? There must be something in it for them.

And the hippies have been warning everyone about the government becoming more corrupt since the 60s.

Well, those Hippies and their more radical friends, the Weather Underground, the NOI, the Communist/Socialist party of America, are now either running the show or influencing it by proxy.

Apparently, they ended up right.

Yeah.. ok. They were smart enough to understand what most didn’t back then despite party affiliation.

I get as much money from "shilling" for democrats as you do for "shilling" for Trump. It was such a stupid question the only proper way to reply to it was to repeat the same idiotic question, but reversed.

Perhaps you simply can't fathom that anyone would have a different opinion than you without being motivated by anything other than their personal preferences.

This country is doing quiet well under Trump. It's the relentless attacks by The Left against Trump and the Right that is hurting this country!

Real GDP averaged 1.6% that year.

Following Trump's unexpected win in 2016, the same S&P 500 gained 510 points, or about 24% in one year.

Real GDP increased 2.2% the first year (2017) and 2.9% in 2018.

Repeating over and over that these trends started under the Obama administration doesn't change the fact that the stock markets were flat and GDP sucked for at least a year before Trump was elected.

To then claim, as many on the left have, that the current breaking unemployment rate is also the result of a trend started under Obama defies reason.

Pretty sure when the UAW strike against GM concludes, those numbers will improve.

As for the trade war, it is something that has to happen.

It's all about thinking of yourself as one of the good people, and looking at the mundane differences between you and others, and using those small diferences to set yourself apart from them. This reinforces your self image as one of those "good people" who are better than everyone else.
