It's so interesting that the standards of behavior and acceptance of that behavior (by the Right) have changed so much - whereas before even a mistake (normal human thing) by any other POTUS was considered fodder for total rejection or constant attack (like if one paid a housekeeper under the table...that was grounds for not holding an admin position), the standard with Trump is vastly different. Now the very same people would say "He's innocent and besides, everyone pays people under the table".
Hey, as long as Righties apply the same "logic" in the future we are all good. It's just happenstance that Rudys Dad and Jareds dad were both convicts. It's "normal" that virtually nothing is created and passed by Congress in terms of laws regarding long term national efforts. It's "normal" for a POTUS to yell and rant and insult individuals and groups full time.
Good for the Goose, good for the gander.....if Trump is not thrown out of office, I'd say that no POTUS ever should either be impeached or thrown out of office - even if installed with foreign money and proven to have compromised interests.
Maybe the Right should push a Constitutional Amendment taking Impeachment out of the founders docs? That seems to be what they desire - no checks and balances.

The crime was Trump getting elected in 2016. We Trump supporters are the accessories to that crime. 60 plus million of us.

It is that he thinks he was made king. He not only ignores the Constitution. He dishonors it.
The paychecks of government employees, even those who work in the White House are funded by the American taxpayer, not Donald Trump. He may be able to compel their loyalty, but not their legal obligation. It will be interesting when we get to part where they are jailed for not appearing when subpoenaed.
IIRC, some friend of the Clintons who was involved with Whitewater went to jail for refusing to testify. And Whitewater was before Clinton became POTUS.
With all the secret hearings, cherry-picked leaks of testimony, and lack of due process and transparency, it's quite difficult to divine what it is the left wing lunatics running the House think Trump did.

Impeachment is a TRIAL where crimes against the office are explored and the POTUS either convicted or not........
Unless you have a time machine....then you can tell us. The "charge" is selling out this Country and our Government for personal political gain. It's illegal in any sense and even worse when the POTUS does it outright in a war which is being engaged in (Ukraine vs. Russia).

You got that right. I remember when the Republicans were the party of law and order, the party of family values. Now they are the party of white collar crime, the party of welcoming foreign interference in American elections, and the party of chronic lying and dishonesty. How far they have fallen. And just as shocking is how the Christian conservatives completely discard their moral foundations to support the most unChristian president we've ever had.
