If the House impeaches Donald Trump, 67 Senators—or a two thirds majority—must then vote to remove him from office. In practice, this means that 20 Republican senators must go against their own party to boot the president.
As the Babylon Bee pointed out, there is no alleged wrongdoing other than Trump winning the election.
All they have to do is hear the words that came out of his mouth. He asked Ukraine for dirt on Biden. And he held up their funds. That's illegal.
No, he did not ask for dirt. And, no, he did not hold up their funds in connection with anything he asked them to look into. And, no, doing those things wouldn't be illegal, as we should all know by now.
Well, there ya go....where is the vote for the articles of impeachment? If it's that straight forward.....why is the speaker not calling for the vote?
She will call for a vote when she deems it the right and proper time to do so. You get no say in it, and that kills you, doesn't it? Suck it up, snowflake. It's not your call.
We see the polls, and in stark contrast are the massive crowds that come to all trump events.
then we have record breaking donations to the Repub party by small donors.
Given the polls are somewhat questionable in regard to validity, how the question is asked, the sample size and distribution of those polled, come into question vs the hard, in your face evidence to the contrary, the polls are invalidated. Pollsters have never met Trump and still can't figure how to capture public reaction.
either that or the pollsters are so well versed in socialist style propaganda they use the polls to create a false reality. Not the first time we have seen such efforts.

Who said I get to say it? That's just another useless talking point the left is using now....
If they have all this evidence, why not? <<<<<A question you cannot answer unless you use the same ole same ole useless drivel in your quote above....

They're still collecting evidence. That's what an investigation is all about. Google the word if you are having trouble understanding it. When they have built their case to where they are ready they will vote.
"The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct by officials, such as dishonesty, negligence, perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of public funds or assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, unbecoming conduct, refusal to obey a lawful order, chronic intoxication, or tax evasion."
I won't even start on dishonesty. Trump is the most dishonest president we have ever had. He keeps the fact checkers in business. But considering all our politicians are liars, that's not really a high crime.
Negligence-the fact that Trump spends nearly half his term in office vacationing and rallying is plenty of proof that he is neglecting his duties big time. And what about all the time he spends tweeting and watching TV?
Abuse of authority-here's a big one. How many times has he refused to obey the orders of Congress because "I'm the president?" And enriched himself via his office with his MAGA hats and increasing fees on Mar-a-Lago memberships?
Bribery and intimidation-that's where the phone call comes in-"Find dirt on Biden or we won't give you (the Ukraine) aid."
Unbecoming conduct-Twitterer in chief can't push his off button and stop insulting people online for even a week. Never have we had a more unprofessional, embarrassing president.
Refusing to obey a lawful order-see my comment about Congress and not obeying their orders.
Tax evasion-Where are those tax returns again?
And the sad part is he doesn't even have the excuse of chronic intoxication for his behavior!
