Yes, there was.

That's how you know he was Somali.

Well, that post certainly makes no sense.

Did you forget to use your irony tags?

True. That was well publicized. There was no attempt on the part of anyone in the media to conceal that cop's nationality.

And we wonder why we can't get enough qualified officers????

So in this case, the cops responded to the 911 call, the cop saw a figure in the window and overreacted and opened fire. I highly doubt that the cop could even tell it was a black person or that the color of the person was really going through his mind. This is another perfect example of the liberal media stirring up divisions!

The home was located on the southside of Ft Worth. Any who knows anything about the city knows that area is made up of 99% blacks and Hispanics. The officer clearly knew this and this may be the reason he was a little quicker on trigger than he would have been in a nicer part of town. What would be the discussion here if the homeowner shot and killed the cop not knowing it was a cop prowling around her back yard at 2 am in the morning. What would the headlines be then.

So fair to say an area with a bad reputation and higher crime than other areas in the metroplex????

"Dog bites man is not news. Man bites dog is news."

Thirty to fifty shootings each weekend in Chicago is not news.

By definition, what is "new" about thirty to fifty shootings in Chicago?

Now, if Chicagoans ever got tired of thirty to fifty shootings each weekend and decided to take some significant step to stop them...that would be news.

Because she was in her own house. We should be safe in our own houses. She wasn't doing anything wrong.

And a family of 5 was killed over the weekend while sitting at their kitchen table having dinner.... crickets

But we have become a society that treats the police like the enemy, thus it is news.. black society has been taught that the police are the bad people even though 99.9% of them are good people serving their communities.

Well I'd say that particular cop was the enemy. Definitely not all cops, but that one was bad.
