The House has passed over 400 bills that are just sitting at the Senate because McConnell refuses to consider anything passed by Democrats. So who is it that is doing nothing?
If you pass a bill that you know has zero chance of getting passed in the Senate, are you really doing anything but political posturing?
Russia finally has something it has wanted: a foothold in Syria, a base in the middle east. And who gave it to them? Trump, who pulled out American forces so that Russian forces could take their place. If he is not a Russian asset, he has been currying their favor for a long time. I think he would do anything, including destroying the US and world peace, to get his tower built in Moscow.
This is apparently the first time that the United States has ever surrendered a US base to Russia.
Erm actually it's more the previous administration's who handed Russia access to Syrian Ports.
If they had focused on removing the threat of ISIL without also trying to shank al-Assad, the situation would be far different.
Al-Assad when learning of being shanked went to the only viable alternative. It's not rocket science.
I mean I don't even know why we were there, we don't have legal standing to be in Syria, notionally it was to stop a humanitarian crisis, but the figures from Amnesty International estimate more collateral casualties from US and Coalition forces than ISI (8000-13,000 for the US led coalition in Syria and Iraq), that seems to me to be causing a humanitarian crisis, rather than preventing it.
The communists had infiltrated our academic institutions, our media, and our governance throughout the 20th century. Active Measures they called it.
The Soviets spent 75% of their budget doing so. But, guess what happened....the Soviet Union FAILED in Russia in the 1990's!!!
Now we're here stuck with the damage they did here. You might recognise such damage that they produced in what we call liberals, or progressives, aka DEMOCRATS that currently HATE our country!
Russia released video of the former base camp in Syria where U.S troops were stationed, and there were fully stocked coolers in the mess tent, and half eaten food trays on the table. There were footballs and sporting goods lying around. These troops left in a rush, and had no time to prepare for this move.
One might ask, what on earth was the rush? Because of a promise to the dictator in Turkey? So that Russia could quickly move in and fill the power vacuum? No one in the intelligence agencies or the Defense Dept. can explain the rationale, or justify the cost, of the U.S. retreating like this. Now ISIS is also likely to reconstitute. And to add insult to injury, U.S. troops asked for Kurdish help on gaining safe passage thru the area, it's been reported.
Let's show some bi-partisanship and all agree that Trump is a Russian asset, and if not, then the only other option is the man is a complete idiot.
Trump is an asset to the world so I guess we can say he also is a Russian asset. Most of all, he is a ginormous American asset.
An egotistical BILLIONAIRE would be OK being someone's "useful idiot"? LOL! You really thought that through didn't you?
You didn't . Trump's ego is SO BIG that he can't imagine anyone getting one over on him. Good lord, man; Turkey just rolled over him like a bulldozer and Trump thinks he's brilliant.

You like the fact that world leaders can play him like an ocarina?
