I love Bernie, but I think his time was in 2016.

Totally agree. I also hold him partially responsible for the Bernie Bros rejection of Dem party line which gave us trump. I personally know at least a couple of them who voted for trump not because they wanted him, but because they wanted to give the finger to the system.

It's interesting; I think we're seeing a schism between true believers and rent-seeking money-grubbers on the left. Bernie has always represented the true believers, and it is significant that the squad is behind him.

Biden's motivation is pretty clear amassing of money for his family. Warren I can't quite figure out. Bernie is up front and transparent.

He's not a Democrat, he's too old, and Bernie Bros are one of the reasons Trump won in 2016. Trump will win again in 2020 no matter who gets the nomination so they might as well give it to Bernie to shut him up once and for all.

I actually know of some conservatives who would have voted for Bernie. It is unconscionable what the DNC did to him just because they wanted Hillary. So then everybody lost.

I like Bernie and he seems very genuine, but don't like or trust any of the "squad".

Also just in: water is wet and the sky is blue.

Anyone surprised by this simply isn't paying attention.

I don't blame that on Bernie. I think some of them were such dolts that they were susceptible to both Bernie and not realizing that Trump would actually act the same way in office as he had during the campaign. FWIW, I think the female Bernie supporters were actually more strident. It's bizarre to see them take some of the minor policy differences between Warren and Sanders and treat them as if we were comparing Goldwater with Bell Abzug.

As Nancy Pelosi has pointed out- the Sqaud only has four votes. And they don't seem horribly aware of the fact that you win majorities by carrying votes across the country not in the most liberal cities alone. I also find it odd Pressley and Omar came out so early when their states have high profile pols seeking the nomination.

Good for them.

“We the people” need to vote for extreme candidates who terrify the elites. Otherwise, things will keep getting worse for everyone but the top 0.1%.
