I don't care.
The outcome would not have changed no matter who signed. His replacement will be elected by the same group of uninformed, narrow minded, Democrat flunkies who elected Cummings. Nothing will change.
It's pretty hard for me to sign my signature in a way that looks like my signature when I am laying in a hospital bed. I'm sure Bent just never thought about that instead of blindly following another conspiracy theory
The poster probably would not have brought the issue up had it been a Republican in hospice.
Who knows?
Historically though, the Democrats have the edge. Wilson was secretly in bed barely able to sign his name while Edith actually ran the country; FDR could not even walk and people were not told, JFK had severe back and pain problems, but got around OK, so people weren't told.
Eisenhower, however revealed his heart attack to the public, and when Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer he wrote a letter by hand and released it.
Oh, please. It's nobody's damn business what he died of or what his long-term health issues were.
That response was anticipated. Cummings was a public figure- a very outspoken public figure who had a lecturing style of speaking especially when it came to race. If he desired anonymity and privacy, he should have stayed out of the public domain.
In many states, the public can access death certificates. Maryland is not one of those states. So we'll never know about Cummings' "health issues," unless a family member volunteers the info.
