I hope president Trump said... 'hold my beer and watch this'. I can see it now, Rush Limbaugh driving the golf cart with president Trump riding shot gun asking for political donations for 2020.

"Hey Rush, there's Vlad, lets stop and say hi".

The sound of a cheap fiddle playing is deafening, from the left. lol

It is illegal and will probably be an additional article of impeachment.

Aside from violating the Constitution--what he is really doing is attempting to give himself an edge, publicity and profit. I don't believe it will even happen.

And what a great idea to have a global meeting in Miami during peak hurricane season. Really great judgment.

This is why holding it there is genius! The reaction is nuclear!

I'm just going to give the mildest of pushbacks here to say that I loved Miami in August when I was there. But it is very Californian of you to rag on Florida. My family (native Angeleno here) does that too, although they've barely spent any time there.

No, that is not an anti-Florida observation. I lived in Florida for 15 years up until last year. Most people there avoid planning big events in hurricane season. My employers avoided holding their big corporate get-togethers then and the non-profits I worked with avoided holding their big fundraisers then. I even avoided hurricane season for my wedding and trust me, there were a lot fewer people coming from a lot fewer places for my wedding than the G7.

Nah, not really anti Florida at all. Quite a few of my good friends have moved to Florida and I really enjoy visiting them. We really enjoy diving and fishing so time spent in Florida is much more pleasant than California for ocean sports. Just not in August.

What are the odds that his hotel came out on top, pretty amazing.

When will the republican congressmen step up and criticize his actions.

Romney will, but forget the Lapdogs. Rubio thinks it is a great idea! These lackeys would claim the sky is green, and act like everyone else is crazy if Trump told them to.

And honestly--the property is a dump. The PGA pulled out of the place a couple of years ago. The G7 members should simply refuse to abet Trump's Constitutional violations.

Mulvaney implied that Camp David wasn't nice or big enough! Which begs the question, if Camp David is in need of a renovation, why are they spending our money on building the Melania Tennis Pavilion at the WH? BeBest!
