CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) — A family in Delaware County says they were targeted and unjustly arrested earlier this month for loitering while standing outside of their own Chester Township home. The family says they are now suing.

Some family members were arrested twice in two days. They say they were doing nothing wrong and were just standing outside of their house.

Thats ridiculous, those cops pulled that guy off his own porch to arrest him??!!! Sad that no one came to his aid either (probably scared of getting arrested themselves, LOL). THose cops need to be made an example of for what they did imo.

I dont blame the people for resisting arrest one bit!

This stinks of racism too, loitering laws are normally used around commercial areas, in front of stores, etc so not to block the entrance, there would be no purpose for loitering laws in a residential area, Im surprised the news failed to look into why a residential area had loiter laws (neighbors regularly 'loiter' in their own neighborhoods, duh).

So once again, just another case where law enforcement has too much authority.
