They want to confuse children and have them question their "identity" from an early age. It is a form of grooming.

Why would a college dorm play host to children for story time and why would drag queens be the thing they choose to highlight?

Because most college and universities have become social engineering indoctrination farms. And what type of parent actually takes a child to one of these events? I guess early grooming is their thing. Really sick stuff.
