The Left is anti-right, period, the end. In all things, whatever te right's prevailing position is, the Left opposes it out of hand, reflexively.

Thus, if the Right says withdraw troops, the Left must insist the troops remain, forever. No matter what, the Left will always take the polar opposite side of any position the Right takes.

And vice versa by the way. If the Left does it, the Right must oppose it, period, the end.

Interesting that more people cannot see this easily observed pattern of pure hypocrisy and political theater.

What? He gave more money to the DoD then they asked for!

Alternate reality....

No matter how you look at it, the dems have never been averse to war.
The Korean Conflict? To pin that one down, you have to go all the way back to the Great White Fleet, & Pres. T. Roosevelt counseling Imperial Japan that the US felt that Korea might benefit from guidance from IJ. This was apparently understood by IJ as an open invitation to help themselves to Korea, which they did. Similarly, someone @ the US State Department in the late 1940s, while expounding upon those countries which the US considered to be within its sphere of interest (& thus would defend militarily) failed to include Korea in the list - again understood by the USSR as an invitation to help themselves to abandoned goods.

Vietnam? US involvement in Vietnam goes back to the French incursion. & somehow, in the aftermath of WWII & as France was retrying to reconquer the gloire they had apparently found in SE Asia, the US began helping them recapture Indochina. We abandoned transport, weapons, ammo to them, we provided sealift to bring their troops in from Africa & France, we took over more & more of the financial support of their military in Indochina, & on & on.

That's all well and good, but the let's bring our troops home president is sending them to Iraq instead. Not sure how you can blame that completely on Dems although both parties are part of the military industrial complex.

All thanks to Republicans!

As far as those who think Trump is against war, why did he just put thousands of troops in SA? As was said before, he only pulled the troops out of Syria because Turkeys leader told him too. He likes taking his orders from strong leaders since he is so weak.

You can say the same about the right. All things the left supports, the right is anti. Obama wanted to pull troops out of Iraq, the right had a hissy fit. Obama wanted to close Gitmo, the right had a hissy fit. Obama wants relations with Cuba, the right had a hissy fit. Get the picture!

LOL trotting out the timeworn generalization about "the left". The reality is that national security does not know political boundaries, as we can see by the widespread denunciation by Democrats and Republicans alike of Trump's decision to cede Northern Syria to Turkey. Most importantly we see all the former generals aligned against this decision. It says a lot.

Trump isn't bright enough to cure cancer but you can bet he would take credit if someone did!

Even funnier is when someone interviews some brain dead, students who are clueless. Ask them something that Obama did and say that Trump said that....and the other way around.

That's hilarious.
