And he's not known for being one of the ultra-political actors.

John Lithgow: Trump Is A Bad President. He’s An Even Worse Entertainer.
I call Donald Trump an “entertainer president” advisedly since he has proved himself to be such an inept public servant.
Think of Mr. Trump preening at his beauty contests, body-slamming Vince McMahon at W.W.F. events or holding rallies that resemble the arena gigs of an insult comic. These are the antics of a showman, not a statesman.

No one who voted for trump cares what Hollywood has to say about politics.

Trump is a great entertainer. He's solely responsible for every news programs ratings for the last three years.

I listened to a Mark Maron Podcast with Woody Harrelson recently, and geezus talk about TDS
Whats funny, I'll bet if pressed, neither of them could name something Trump is doing, that their guy didn't do, or their gal wouldnt have.
Within the same conversation, Harrelson was talking about the climate and the pending end of world, while mentioning residences on Maui, in So. California and third one he is looking to purchase in Austin Tx.
Talk about a lack of awareness and it seems to afflict many these celebs who go about pontificating about how others should live.

Is Lithgow’s opinion supposed to be important?

Not sure why people use celebrities as reinforcement for their own belief. Their vote has the exact same weight as anyone else’s. Their position as an entertainer does not give them any special knowledge or intelligence. They’re just ordinary people who happen to have name recognition.

No, we realize actors pretend to be other people and are not great thinkers.

Default It's Gotten Old A Long Time Ago

Just what America needs, another Hollywooder announcing his/her hate for our successful President. Just once, I'd like to see someone from that same town praise the accomplishments President Trump has achieved since taking office. I know they are out there. And they should never be afraid.
