It's an ugly symbol (since it won't be fool proof), and sends a bad image. Walls are for prisons or dictatorships

Why would anyone already in the US be scared of the wall? You didn't think that through, did you.

So the Democrats who voted for barriers until recently believe in a dictatorship? Obama, Hillary, Schumer, Pelosi, etc?

Fence and only in sections. Not a concrete wall

I no longer vote Conservative because the Republican party has gone off the deep end. I've voted more often for conservative candidates over the years but in the last 10 years or so they've gone way too far to the right for my tastes. I'll vote for an intelligent right-leaning moderate every time. Too bad, they no longer exist.

First, you kind of admit here that Democrats aren't all for open borders. Second, most immigrants enter the country through ports of entry, not swimming the Rio Grande. The wall doesn't even attempt to address things like visa overstays that are responsible for a significant portion of the undocumented. Third, these walls are expensive, but not impenetrable. If most of the immigrants aren't trying to cross in most places these walls would exist, and they would find ways around them anyway, why wouldn't it make more sense to just tackle the actual immigration system? You can still support border security without supporting a massive, wasteful wall that doesn't solve anything and treats the US like an unwelcoming fortress of isolation- not to mention that I've never seen conservatives advocate for walls on the Canadian border, which makes the reasoning suspicious.

Of course, none of these articles even address the last 6 months or so, and so do not even go into the Ukraine scandal, the Syria pullout, etc.

Now, do I expect you to actually read any of these links? No. Do I think you'll admit that any of these are real or matter? No.
Which one is a scandal? All of these are political hit pieces published by Democrats propaganda machine aka fake news media.

Can we have some honesty here?

Are you the one wanting to force other people to pay for your expenses?

Sigh, you can keep using that strawman all you want, but most don't agree with you
