CA Rep. Katie Hill Allegedly Involved Female Staffer In 2-Yr ‘Throuple’ Relationship

Photographs and text messages obtained by RedState show that Rep. Hill was involved in a long-term sexual relationship with a female campaign staffer. The woman, whose name is not being released, was hired by Hill in late 2017 and quickly became involved in a “throuple” relationship with Hill and her estranged husband, Kenny Heslep.

Heslep and the staffer, according to text messages provided to RedState, believed the polyamorous arrangement to be a long-term, committed relationship.

They moved to DC when she was elected in Jan. 2019.

By late May, Hill broke off her relationships with both Heslep and the staffer, claiming she wanted to focus on “this important work” and that it wasn’t fair to be involved in a relationship.

According to the text messages reviewed, after Hill left the throuple Heslep was told “by numerous sources” that Hill had been involved in a sexual relationship for a year with her then-finance director, now Legislative Director, Graham Kelly.

He apparently has filed for divorce after hearing of the affair.

At issue is the legal and ethical standards concerning sleeping around with people who directly report to her - which has now happened twice.

Why any of us glorify, admire politicians is a mystery. Supporting a pol for agenda purposes is one thing, but let us not beatify the first one.

As long as the people are all sane adult willing humans, I do not see how this is relevant to... well anything.

Her business.

Ethically - she is the boss sleeping around with people on her staff. It doesn't make for a good work environment.

An official in any other position - military, education, corporate - would be fired.
If this was a high school principle it would be the end of her career.

But you watch the Dems as they plead "her business" and "no big deal".
A Dem could sleep with a goat and still receive support from that party.

Not my cuppa, but different strokes and all that.

Years ago I sat in 'sensitivity training' with a group of co-workers and a lady from HR. I had a female co-worker ask the HR lady what would have happened to Bill Clinton had he been an employee of our corp.

The HR lady (doubtless a far-lefty) replied without hesitation that Bill would have been terminated.

If your Aunt had a Y chromosome instead of another X, she'd be your Uncle.

She's not in the military or education or the corporate world or....

There's a long precedent of infidelity NOT costing politicians much. Why should this be different?
