Exactly. The majority of POC, especially many of us who are recent, realize that the U.S. has created a mess when it comes to race and this is an imperfect way of fixing it.
Aside from a few physical features that the Nazis rather exaggerated to be Jewish, even they had to look at other factors(such as documentation) to isolate Jews from the rest of population. That's because Jews(Ashkenazim and Sephardics at least) are white in phenotype and even genetically as DNA tests reveal, and the most known from Albert Einstein to Mark Zuckerberg are white. There is even a thread on this very forum concerning the possibility of Christopher Columbus was a Jew. The implication from that is he had the ability to as much just live as a regular Italian white man, during a period of expulsion of all Jews in Spain and Portugal.

This is a VERY good summary of the entire problem with affirmative action, whether it is in college admissions or hiring in both the public and private sectors. The hiring preferences given to minorities (in other words, discrimination against whites) in the public sector has reached absurd levels. I have direct experience with this, and have also seen and heard plenty of evidence over the years to back this up.

NO. White women benefit the most from affirmative action. Whites benefit from it but so many just don’t want anyone else to have it. Common story. There wasn’t an issue when basically whites alone benefited from welfare programs. They only started complaining when they became accessible to minorities in the 1960s. Most whites have never been opposed to these social programs when it comes to them. Total hypocrisy.

Exactly. I presented a study from Harvard that concluded that the main reason that the US does not have a social welfare system as Europe does is due to race. It concluded that that whites thought that minorities would be the ones who disproportionately would benefit from it.....otherwise they would support it if it were whites who were the main beneficiaries of it.
One can leverage that finding to conclude that AA is the same way. They have no problem with white women as the main benefactor.....but have a problem when its blacks.

They use it as a weapon to discredit blacks. That is the need. People see blacks as inferior and they will search to find juxtapositions to demonstrate that. Jews were an oppressed group....but doing better than blacks.zthus, blacks can’t blame oppression for their problems. Hence, discrediting the black explanation.
