But I guess everyone has to live somewhere.

BTW, is this thread trying to suggest that residents of largely Democratic cities are unhappy?
Yeah, especially ones in California. California is adding on population so much slower than usual that it may a lose a congress person so that Texas, where a lot of them are moving to, can add at least one more congress person. Unhappy Californians are welcomed to keep moving to Texas, while ignoring Oklahoma City, in order to keep the cost of living down there. They are welcomed, though, to move to my town to help make sure the population officially goes over 50,000 by census time next year to make highly coveted metro status. Getting everybody counted is already being promoted.

Oklahoma City cost of living index: 91.5
Austin, TX cost of living index: 130

The good conservatives at many stations in OKC are paying $2.05 to $2.10 a gallon as opposed to liberals in San Francisco paying $4.33 on average.

I wonder if Baltimore, Detroit and Los Angeles would have 85% of their residents rating their city as "excellent or good".

It looks like the Republicans who run Oklahoma City like a very, very diverse economy that sent their unemployment down to 2.6% in April.

No, wonder a vast majority of residents love their conservative city!

It seems like Oklahomans love their rock-bottom taxes, gas prices that are less than half the price of San Francisco or Los Angeles at many stations around their lush, green oasis.

OKC: 3,900 square foot mansion with it's own 7.5 acre park for $200,000 about 20 minutes from their active and vibrant clean-cultured downtown.

Denver $649,000 for a 2 bedroom home built in 1885 with the houses next door able to hear every sneeze and cough and in a very rough area.

Los Angeles $925,000 for a 2 bedroom home in close proximity to third-world disease and the stench of garbage, urine and feces close by.

Housing prices are a function of supply and demand. Looks like OKC ain’t for everybody.

I’m looking at buying a home on the beach in the Philippines for 50k with groceries half the price they are here and four dollar massages.

Statewide for Trump, yeah, but conservatives from the outside had best be warned that Oklahoma County, where Oklahoma City is, only went 51.7% for Trump.

Highest of morals? In Oklahoma? What about the time back when a Tulsa Baptist preacher went to Oklahoma City looking for a wild time, and ended up getting arrested by an undercover officer for soliciting for oral sex in the parking lot of a gay resort in Oklahoma City?

I just relocated from OKC (well, Mustang) to Richmond, VA ,3 weeks ago. I spent 18 years in OKC and I loved it. In fact I miss it a lot. The first week way from family and away from OKC was hell. My family is still in OKC and leaving the comfort zone is never easy. But only 3 weeks in, I am starting to like Richmond. Housing in Virginia is more expensive but you don't have the redneck hillbilly politicians that you have in OKC who think they are god's representatives on earth. Roads here are way better. Real estate taxes here are cheaper. You dont get accused of being anti-american here if you say you are a democrat while in OKC many of my friends thought I was a commy for saying I was a liberal. There are so many outdoor activities here that i really like. Most importantly, I moved because my family lives in Maryland and got tired of having to drive 25 hours to see them every other year. As you get older, you start realizing that what really matters in life is not having no mortgage or living in a cheap city but being able to see Mom, sisters, cousins, etc. Soon, my wife and kids will join me and we hope to re-make our lives here in the Richmond area. Plus, I already found a great Middle-Eastern restaurant that I like..hu hu hu

There's someplace for everyone. Find your happy place. Good to know the people of OKC are mostly happy with their city. That's nice.
