Most conservatives I know are either the batish crazy type that always feel like they are super intelligent because of the conspiracies they are in on OR are the law and order type that like to be fed a reality without questioning it. Both of those groups are susceptible to falsehoods. Conservatives disdain of science and facts also leads to being easily misled. If you are not intellectually curious you are easily fooled.

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward liberal causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage liberal causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy.

Analysis / Bias

mediabiasfactcheck review, Slate has a politically progressive, liberal stance throughout their political articles. They publish political news with moderately emotionally loaded headlines such as “The Government Shutdown Is Going to Hurt More People Each Day It Continues” and “EPA Proposes Nixing Obama-Era Rule on Mercury From Coal Plants.” Slate always sources to credible media outlets such as: Associated Press, Bloomberg, Reuters, The Hill, Washington Post, and New York Times.

AllSides conducted an editorial review of Slate. We decided to move Slate's bias from a Lean Left to Left[/color]. The AllSides team found that Slate never includes a Right-leaning perspective on its website, making it unbalanced.

wikipedia.org/wiki/Slate_ Slate, is "not fundamentally a breaking news source", but rather aimed at helping readers to "analyze and understand and interpret the world" OPINION )

Mediabiasfactcheck.com Slate.com, Slate Magazine, The Slate Group, is a widely read current events publication covering politics and culture exclusively for a liberal audience. Slate was founded in 1996 and has changed ownership several times.

Slate was created by former editor of The New Republic (a left-leaning politics and arts magazine) Michael Kinsley. Slate is owned by the Washington Post Company, and while web-magazines are less strictly bound by traditional journalistic principles than newspapers like the Washington.

Why exactly do you have such an issue with people being able to choose their gender? Is not freedom a good thing? Why not be free to exercise choice in term of one of the most far reaching aspects of one's life?

How utterly and completely dishonest of you to cut and paste from mediabiasfactcheck and not include the criteria that we were talking about -- RELIABILITY.

Here's what you ommitted:

"Factual Reporting: HIGH"

"A factual search reveals that Slate has not failed a fact check."

That's higher than just about every MSM, higher than Fox, CNN, etc.

Yes, they are biased left. I already acknowledged that, same way Fox News is biased right. But they are more reliable than Fox News, according to your own reference (despite your best efforts to hide that).

Conservatives are more connected to Fox News or Rush Limbaugh than reality.
