I hate it when I have to go google the story to understand what's going on.
No ya don't. Being the know-it-all is fun.

Here's what's going on.
Ho's a mixed race Asian chef who does restaurant reviews.
She also used to have a podcast named "the Racist Sandwich", which made a joke of a Portland School principal who was incorrectly accused of labeling peanut butter and jelly sandwiches racist.
The podcast title was an inside joke. For those who have the mental capacity to dig a teeny bit deeper.
Sometimes, you have to read better sources to understand headlines. If you think "that can't possibly be" - research it, it's likely the headline is a lie.
And here's THAT reference, for those who still might think the peanut butter and jelly sandwich quote called the sandwich "racist". *rolls eyes*
This thread is poorly labeled and misleading, but there's not a thing wrong with that Campus Reform article titled "Yale hosts ‘Racist Sandwich’ podcast host". The loonyness is accurately quoted.
Well. It really is getting hard to keep up with everything that is declared RACIST these days. If you thought cauliflower, peanut butter and jelly, bike paths, the song White Christmas, pumpkins, math, Easter chocolates, and the concept of time were all crazy for being labeled as racist, well now you can add sandwiches to the list. Alas, the common food staple is going to have to go through some mandatory diversity training. Read up on racist sandwiches below:
What happened here? Did you just completely misread the article? With so much legitimate progressive lunacy to poke fun at, why would anyone fabricate stuff?

Quotes from the article:
"Yale University hosted Wednesday the host of a podcast, titled, “Racist Sandwich,” which examines food through a social justice lens."..............."Ho ties the food industry to gender, race, and class" ...................."During her speech, she highlighted “more stories by and about people whose food ways and livelihoods have been marginalized and undervalued by a white supremacist, abelist, hetero-patriarchial, capitalist culture.”.........................."In August, Ho critiqued Popeyes’ chicken sandwich, calling it "a cheap product where the true cost is carried by marginalized people and animals besides the consumer."
That's because sandwiches have the meat!
White or dark meat?
Racist...LOL ...the world is insane!
