The Wexit movement in Alberta and Saskatchewan . Many western Canadians are really angry at Trudeau and Liberals. Like the US, power in Canada has agglomerated in Liberal areas out of touch with many Albertans. Let's see if Trudeau and Liberals keep the nation together.

So for those who are supportive of the independence minded protesters in Hong Kong, surely you feel the same way about these people here in Canada, right?

More people voted for the conservatives than for the liberals. Because of Canada 's odd system, you can win the popular vote and still end up with a lot less seats than the party who lost the popular vote.

Looks like Alberta and Saskatchewan aren't alone. I saw this French newscast audio from the French CBC website about BC got its own wexit with the "Bloc Cascadien" (Cascadian Bloc). https://ici.radio-canada.ca/premiere...ood-initiative
