Not when you consider the wars they have started and/or promoted, deaths resulting from mind control by tobacco companies via adding addictive substances for no other reason then to make it much more difficult then it otherwise would be for people from being able to stop buying their products after they became aware of the risks to their health, and countless other such episodes, some known, many undoubtedly not. With no prison terms for executives resulting from that, of course.

So should we award defense aerospace contracts to lesser companies because Lockheed and Boeing have too much power? You realize we are not talking about the Amazon store here? This is their cloud software.

Can you imagine satellites and military equipment being ran by software from Microsoft that crashes due to weather?

Maybe that's why Google, Microsoft...choose Indian-born leaders not Americans. They are less likely to be involved in politics.

Can you explain the technical reasons that make AWS a better option than Microsoft Azure in this instance, pay particular attention to the projects goals and requirements.

Bear in mind the article you linked to (NextGov) is obsolete in regards to government security certifications. Azure already hosts DISA in its Office 365 Government Defense cloud.

Or are you taking market share are the metric? Which doesnt really determine capability, but perceived cost?

I'm not in any way disparaging AWS, it's a good tight system with some limitations that are not insurmountable. However I wouldn't dream of claiming it's better than another service unconditionally without detailed understanding of requirements, goals, and current technology practices of the development team.

Why would Indian-born leaders be less likely involved in politics than American born? And why would Google and Microsoft care? They don't hire Americans because they're un-American globalist a-holes is more likely.

So why do the butcher or Bezos any favors? Maybe others see it in their self interest to oppose him ?

If satellites and military equipment cannot be used because a data center shut down then a whole bunch of people at the DOD need to be fired.
