Oh, that's interesting! Can you show me some examples?
I don’t know about “liberal” media coordinating messages, but here’s video of a conservative media company coordinating dozens of local news stations to, ironically, push Trump’s “fake news, don’t believe the media” message.
Well, sure more Black people should have been invited. However, at least any were invited at all! I am getting even more convinced to no RE-VOTE for Trump!
wrong,,,,,all of the bias news works together..They all want Trump gone........sorry HE ISNT LEAVING
If a lot of different source are reporting the same evidence, sometimes you have to sit back to listen and make a decision. Not just who you happen to like, but what is the right thing to do. Make no mistake, Trump has his way, He will have state news channels and only tell you what he wants. Then you have NO decisions.
You mean, a racist institution, that doesn't admit whites because of their skin color?
You should really know something (even a little) about a topic before you criticize it so vehemently on a public discussion forum. HBCUs are absolutely rooted in a history of racism and intolerance...by White Americans against Black Americans. Do you not know even a little of your country's history of systemic racism and segregation? Wait...are you even American, or are you criticizing an American institution you know nothing about and effects you in no way just because you are a global citizen who is concerned about racism in America?
Have you never seen those famous photos of black students being escorted into Southern colleges by the military while crowds of white men and women scream and spit at them? How do you think black people in America got university degrees before the federal government literally sent in the troops to desegregate schools?
Fear not! I've taken the initiative to answer some of these questions for you so that they are not merely rhetorical. I've done you and any other poster who might want to say the same thing about HBCUs a favor and copied Wikipedia's overview of the topic so you might better understand why your post reflects a considerable amount of ignorance about something you seem to feel passionately about. We all betray our own ignorance from time to time, but I hope you'll use this opportunity to learn something. I would have found you a primary source, but it would undoubtedly be criticized as biased, so I chose Wikipedia because it is hard to accuse the world's largest information commons of being biased. Most of this is also common knowledge to anyone with a passing interest in American history or who has watched the film Forest Gump.
From Wikipedia:
"Historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) are institutions of higher education in the United States that were established before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with the intention of primarily serving the African-American community. During the period of segregation in the United States prior to the Civil Rights Act, the overwhelming majority of higher education institutions were predominantly white and disqualified African Americans from enrollment.[1][2] For a century after the end of slavery in the United States in 1865, most colleges and universities in the Southern United States prohibited all African Americans from attending, while institutions in other parts of the country regularly employed quotas to limit admissions of blacks.[3]"
Also from Wikipedia:
"Racial segregation in schools existed throughout most of American history and remains an issue in contemporary education. During the Civil Rights Movement school integration became a priority, but since then de facto segregation has again become prevalent.[1]"
Call me crazy, but I found the content of Trump’s speech at the college to be very interesting.
People should focus on that instead.
