Those who don't understand the monetary system think this like a household strapped for cash spending more than they have.
Actually its just fitting the difference between excessive credit costs to help stimulate economic growth; the government controls money, now its being distributed away from large money lenders to keep us from falling into a recession.
I would rather us live in a society where costs are not inflated and people live cooperatively with independence.
But with our market system that inflates costs and fills society with credit so basic goods can be afforded, we need an overall deficit to keep us afloat.
If Obama wasn't such a deficit hawk he could have bailed out homeowners who were losing their houses/capital but instead allowed all that wealth to funneled back into mortgage companies and wall street speculators.
This enormous debt spending over the past few decades is pretty much the only thing keeping the economy growing.
Otherwise, the economy and standard living would've sunk to "Second World" levels a long time ago...
Thats not sustainable though, eventually it will fall like a house of cards. LOL All the 'growth' the media is currently talking about...its all fake/artificial!

Id say within our lifetimes, definitely. This kind of thing can only go on for so long, they can push it back somewhat, but not stop it.
